Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band is deeply rooted in the authentic traditions of country blues and rock ‘n’ roll. Led by guitarist and vocalist Reverend Peyton, joined by his wife Breezy Peyton on the washboard, and drummer Jacob Powell, the band is renowned as “the greatest front porch blues band in the world.”
Their latest album, Dance Songs for Hard Times, is a tribute to resilience and creativity in the face of challenging times. The songs, written by candlelight in their centuries-old log cabin during power outages, carry a raw honesty that comes straight from the heart.
