The project of Jamie Stewart and Angela Seo, Xiu Xiu confronts difficult emotions with music ranging from harsh to tender. Using an intense mix of post-punk, synth pop, folk, Asian percussion music, experimental music, noise, modern composition, and more, the group explores the complexities of love, sex, death, and injustice.
Armed with an impressive body of work, Xiu Xiu will go on tour at the end of this year. On November 8th, the band will make a stop at VERA!
