What happens when you blendpost-punk and techno? You get Chalk! Inspired by the ferocity and live performance of Dublins Guitar Band scene, and informed by the sweaty hardcore dance scenes of their native Belfast. Think IDLES meets Daniel Avery, Death Grips meets Bicep.
Their first EP ‘Conditions‘ was released in May 2023, in which the band interweave their industrial noise/techno hybrid soundscape and the monochromatic gothic visual landscape they have created for themselves in an evocative and seamless manner.
