They mix high-pitched screams (by Yayoi), low-pitched growls (by Io), and clean voices (Tsubaki and Shizuku) in an exquisite balance. The screaming metal idol group Broken By The Scream, formed in October 2016, is a unique combination never before witnessed in the idol scene or the metal scene.

After a successful debut European tour in 2024 — featuring 7 shows, including a memorable performance at Motocultor Festival [2] in France, Broken by the Scream is set to return to the Old Continent this June.

This time, it’s an even bigger tour that awaits the 4 members, who caught the attention of the Resurrection Fest in Spain as well as Japan Expo in France. These upcoming shows given at renowned festivals mark a new big step in their growing international reputation, and cement them as a force to be reckoned with on the global stage. And with a brand new album due this year, the best is yet to come for BBTS in 2025.
