After two editions in the basement and three in the main hall, Flikkerdisco is bringing both spaces together to celebrate one year of the club night in VERA.
With chaotic high-BPM sets packed with sexy, raw and unpredictable bangers, spun by superstar DJ’s Helmond Lang, Udda, DJ Faptax, LGnius and Adrenalina, alongside visual work by Luky B, installation work by Ren Sheikh and FLIKK3R#1 and performances throughout the night from Jackie Galama and Marta Calero Segura. For the basement we’re keeping the programme under wraps for now.
One year of Flikkerdisco — five editions down, and we’re just getting started.
Decades ago, the VERA Flikker*groep carved out a space for queer nightculture in Groningen with Flikkerdisco, because no one handed it to them. Now Flikkerdisco is back in VERA(!!!), in homage to the group that made it possible back then.

Flikkerdisco is firmly against racism, sexism, ableism, classism, queerphobia, transphobia, xenophobia, and religious discrimination. One violation, and you’re out.
