About ‘PREN-Ki Suriname Short Film Festival’
The PREN-Ki Suriname Short Film Festival, founded by The Under Foundation, is a stage for talent, creativity and passion. Our vision is to grow PREN-Ki into an annual event that inspires more Surinamese filmmakers in Suriname to share their stories with the world.
The PREN-Ki Festival offers filmmakers a platform to showcase their work and nurture the Surinamese film industry. This collaboration with Ventilator Cinema in Amsterdam will present the films from the first PREN-Ki edition. The intention is to increase the visibility of independent Surinamese filmmakers to a new international audience.
