allen forrester band usa

The Allen-Forrester Band is where straightforward American Blues Rock meets melodic Southern Rock. Founded by New York guitarists Josh Allen and Ben Forrester, the band reinvents the classic twin-guitar sound with a style that’s both soulful and electrifying, creating a modern, yet timeless retro sound. Drawing inspiration from legends like the Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Black Crowes, Gov’t Mule, and Blackberry Smoke, their music blends bluesy melodies, rich harmonies, and driving rhythms into a sound that’s as authentic as it is powerful.
Their self-titled debut album, released in 2023, quickly gained attention for its soaring guitar work, tight grooves, and unforgettable hooks. Songs like Knock Me Down and Burning Daylight showcase their ability to craft anthems that resonate with audiences, while tracks like Hey Carolina or Phases Of The Moon highlight their more intimate, storytelling side. In addition to their studio work, the band has released two live EPs (Heading South and Eastbound), capturing the raw energy and passion that define their performances. With their dynamic rhythm section — Hendrik Herder on bass and Matthias Böhm on drums — laying down a thunderous foundation, the band’s shows are nothing short of a sonic explosion.
Looking ahead to 2025, the Allen-Forrester Band is gearing up for an exciting year, with select European shows on the horizon and work beginning on the highly anticipated follow-up to their debut album. As they continue to evolve and refine their sound, one thing remains constant—their commitment to delivering honest, powerful rock ‘n’ roll that connects with audiences across the globe.
