Inspire by Fighting MonkeyDuring this workshop we will offer opportunities to learn and develop through the dialogue we have with ourselves and others. We aim to nurture a playful curiosity that supports the discovery of ourselves in relation to our environment. We will explore these landscapes through FM Zero Forms: stillness, joint articulation, coordination & improvisation in combination with movement situations and games. The FM tools, principles and body to body work are reoccurring essentials during the workshop. We cherish the idea of a practice that supports life. Borrowing rhythms and essentials from human inner and outer movement, dance, martial arts, philosophy, psychology and other practices. A practice in which play is encouraged and the body is challenged to creatively answer the questions that arise.
About Fighting MonkeyFM practice is developed by founders Jozef Frucek and Linda Kapetanea through a deep study of cross motion analysis, and with the aim of understanding principles of human movement, communication and the ageing process.
