Ketelruis

On March 15, 2025 Ketelruis, a cooperative initiative by Zero71 Recordings, Ketacore Records, and a circle of like-minded music-freaks returns in OT301. Artists

Iszoloscope (CAN)

Yann Faussurier has been making music under the moniker Iszoloscope since 1999, crafting pulsing, pounding soundscapes with a core of industrial, hard-core, break-core and rhythmic noise layered with intelligent and often surprising details, such as melodic percussions and carefully placed breaks, rich, orchestral textures and dark, cinematic distortions. Experimental in nature and charged with energy, the music evokes a darkness, tension and atmosphere which immediately carries the listener away on an immersive, complex journey of introspection. Founded as a collaboration in 1999, Iszoloscope became Faussurier’s solo project in 2001. Since then, the project has amassed an impressive oeuvre: 7 full-length albums on European labels Ant-Zen and Spectre, 8 successful tours in Europe and North America, several EPs and collaborations, a long list of remixes and compilations, and appearances at shows and festivals around the world, including a regular spot on the lineup at Germany’s Maschinenfest.

Quid-Pro-Quo (NL)

Remember Hit 'N Run Soundsystem and Project:Domination? Back in the days, these were some of the best underground parties with Mark Wijmenga a.k.a. Quid-Pro-Quo in the frontline. And now he's back on the scene as one of the founding fathers of Ketelruis. This man spins everything between 120 and 300 BPM in a 100% vinyl DJ-set. He can draw his weapons of choice from a vast record collection, ranging from house classics to early gabber to millennium d'n'b to breakcore to rhythmic industrial to speedcore. What will he bring us for this edition of Ketelruis..???

Tonal Verges (NL)

Tonal Verges has been making evil electronic music since the mid-nineties, starting out in the haydays of gabber. He left the hardcore sound behind to form his CAPSLOCK project, and co-founded Ketacore Records. In 2013, after a decade with many releases and gigs in NL, BE, USA and UK, he started the Tonal Verges project, to reunite with his roots of the steady 4/4 beats. Operating within the revived niche doomcore scene, he brings a sound which is also inspired by industrial, techno, electro and old- and new school technoid music.

Supply Module (NL)

With his label Zero71 Recordings, Supply Module is responsible for some of the best breakcore output in The Netherlands. Additionally, he plays a key role in organizing nights such as Hardwired, Moving Rhythms, and Blended. You might also know him as DJ Robbers, who has torn down many dancefloors all over Western Europe. But as Supply Module, he will bring his finest of the finest jungle, hard- & breakcore records to the OT301.

Baron Staalhard (NL)

Beyond The Realms Of Doom... you will find Baron Staalhard. As co-founder of Ketacore Records and Ketelruis, he has earned his stripes in many niche musical genres. As a fervent advocate of the doomcore sound, this is precisely what he'll bring to the OT301 at Ketelruis. Expect no hype, no turntable wizardry, no happiness... just the purest and finest selection of doomcore records known to man and beast.

Triqo (NL)

Probably the most versatile artist from our rostar returns at Ketelruis. We are happy to welcome back Triqo, and you know that you don't know what to expect! Don't miss out one of Leiden's finest record collectors who will dig deep to show you his side of #beatsandbreaksfrombeyond!
