Richard Parker
Driven by strictly the love for music, Richard Parker is nothing but a true veteran when it comes to rocking dancefloors. His passion for great tunes, always forced him to renew himself and continuously merge fresh new sounds with solid underground records and proven classics. Not only does this vinyl-addict know how to get (and keep) you moving when hitting the decks, he’s also the ultimate option to complete, expand and/or upgrade your record collection.
Operating Killa Cutz Records straight from the heart of Amsterdam, Richard provides a large group of well renown DJ’s and pure music lovers with stacks of vinyl. Stuffed with exactly the tracks they were looking for, but also unexpected surprises and valuable hidden gems. House, Techno, Tech House, Breaks, Nu-Disco. Anything goes. If it rocks!
This versatility in styles reflect perfectly when Richard takes place in the DJ booth. His unique capability of selecting the right tracks compared with a natural sense of timing make this guy a real pleasure to listen and dance to. Not only has he always been a resident in Amsterdam’s legendary clubs like ROXY and Chemistry, but it also made him a true globetrotter by getting invited to share his passion for music all over the globe.
Richard Parker is digging deep and thoroughly through his extensive (Detroit) Techno collection and will come up with your- and his personal favourites for DAMN TECHNO on December 7th. Rest assured.
Synatec
Synatec is a French-born, Amsterdam-based DJ & Producer with a rich history in electronic music. While studying Arts in Paris she became vastly influenced by artists like Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, and EBM bands, she began DJing in the mid-90s, with her early sound shaped by labels like R&S and Warp. Her career took off in Paris, where she explored international industrial sounds. She later co-founded the B.A.S.S. collective, which was one of the first all-female DJ groups, inspiring many women in the rave scene.
Synatec's journey includes various DJ aliases, such as Witchcraft for Hardcore Techno and Nuala for Jungle/Drum'n Bass. She gained success in the Benelux, Germany, and Israel, and B.A.S.S performed at the renowned Lowlands festival. After a brief hiatus, she returned to Drum’n Bass in Amsterdam, followed by a shift back to her Techno and Electro roots. During the pandemic, she pursued certification in Electronic Music Production and relaunched her career through live streams and events.
In 2024, Synatec joined the DAMN TECHNO organization, organizing events to unite old-school and new-school techno communities. Her style is versatile, blending UK Breaks, Jungle, Techno, Hardcore, and Electro. Recently, she released "Limbo" on Da Traxx Recordings PARIS and had upcoming projects like “Missing Pieces” on Cherry Juice Recordings. Synatec continues to perform across Europe, including residencies in Amsterdam.
