Op zaterdag 14 en zondag 15 september openen weer 50 monumenten in Amsterdam hun deuren voor het publiek. Tijdens de 38ste editie van Open Monumentendag Amsterdam duiken we in ‘De Ondergrondse Stad’.
We nemen je letterlijk mee onder de grond: door kelders, tunnels en bunkers en langs archeologische vondsten. Maar we ontdekken ook verborgen plekken bovengronds, zoals schuilkerken, en horen de verhalen van tegendraadse Amsterdammers in alle soorten en maten, waaronder krakers, graffitikunstenaars en andere non-conformisten.
In OCCII zal er elk uur een rondleiding worden gegeven met informatie over onze gevel en het huidige gebruik van het pand door onze vrijwilligers (ENG/NL)
(vooraf aanmelden niet mogelijk, elk uur voldoende plek)
Daarnaast is er om 15.30 een (gratis) live optreden van KISS MY KNOBLAUCH

On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September, 50 monuments in Amsterdam will open their doors to the public. During the 38th edition of Open Monument Day Amsterdam, we will delve into ‘The Underground City’.
We will literally take you underground: through cellars, tunnels and bunkers and past archaeological finds. But we will also discover hidden places above ground, such as clandestine churches, and hear the stories of wayward Amsterdammers of all shapes and sizes, including squatters, graffiti artists and other non-conformists.
In OCCII, a guided tour will be given every hour with information about our facade and the current use of the building by our volunteers (ENG/NL)

In addition there will be an (free) live performance by KISS MY KNOBLAUC at 3.30PM
