Thousand Nights in One Night
“Thousand Nights in One Night” is an Iranian multidisciplinary performance that transports audiences on a profound journey beyond everyday life. This unique production showcases the enchanting Persian mystical music of Mohammad Mehdi Behrad, a master of the Ney, paired with the recitation of contemporary poetry by Sara Behrad and storytelling by Farhad Foroutnian.
By weaving together the soulful sounds of the Ney, evocative poetry and stories, and striking imagery, the performance creates a deeply immersive atmosphere. Drawing from Iranian mysticism and modern interpretations of ancient stories, “A Thousand Nights in One Night” offers a transformative experience, inviting the audience into new realms of thought and feeling.
