Strongboi ontstond in Berlijn uit de enthousiaste samenwerking tussen Ziv Yamin en Alice Phoebe Lou. Ze deelden dezelfde lo-fi visie, waarbij ze gebruik maakten van casio keyboards en -toys. Wat begon als een gepassioneerd project tussen twee vrienden, is inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een volledige band. Hoewel die nog altijd haar lo-fi oorsprong eert, variëren de live shows inmiddels van disco dance tot jazzy ballads: alle vormen van expressie zijn geoorloofd. Met drie single releases werd strongboi in 2020 al op de kaart gezet. Nu keren ze terug met hun zelfbenoemde debuutalbum, dat werd opgenomen in hun eigen studio, La Pot. Deuren 19.30
