De nieuwe hiphop/rap mixtape van opkomende ster Doechii, ‘Alligator Bites Never Heal’, toont een zeldzaam talent in haar meest rauwe vorm. Op de mixtape laat Doechii wat van haar roots in Tampa horen, maar ook een LA sound, waar ze momenteel verblijft. De mixtape komt op de hielen van Doechii’s Eurodance-geïnspireerde hit ‘Alter Ego’. Nadat ze vorig jaar wereldwijd meer dan zeshonderd miljoen streams had verzameld voor ‘What It Is (Block Boy)’, bouwde ze haar momentum verder uit toen ze naar Los Angeles vertrok om te openen voor Beyoncé.
