Hypertone

An evening of hybrid live sets hosted by Hypertone and RADION. Smearing genre, texture and mood, this intimate event considers deep listening and immersive sound exploration, blending between human and the otherworldly. ‍ We’ll be joined by MINNE - adept saxophonist and instrument builder - combined through the use of electronics, his work focuses on the use of non-performative speech in electro-acoustic music. ‍ Spanish artist and viola player Bea Alvarez will follow, crafting rich and organic landscapes as she examines depth and space alongside the interplay of static, pure sounds and explosive noise. ‍ Blair will end the night, his violin lacing nostalgia through a future-mythos, navigating themes of anthropoforming and transhumanism through intricately sculpted sound design and electro-acoustic manipulation.
