DEAN SPUNT

Dean Spunt is an artist and musician from Los Angeles Best known for drumming, singing and making noise in the 2 piece punk / experimental rock group No Age. He has released various music under his own name including the LP’s “EE Head” (Radical Documents, 2017), and a collaboration with John Wiese titled “The Echoing Shell” (Drag City, 2022). He runs the Post Present Medium record label, with his newest album “Basic Editions” out in September via Drag City. Steering toward wacked digital soundscapes that bounce colourfully across the stereo azimuth, Dean creates a kind of post-ambient neo-exotica that hinges upon a giddy conflation of cosmic and comic.

Don Toner (Wah Wah Wino, IRELAND) is an evolving sound collage incarnation of artist James Grunfeld.

The Stomach (UK) uses scuzzy techniques to create something mildly scummy.

Through high-key redlining with bass heavy tracks and sample distortions, Mesin Slat employs memory in their sets to dissolve the separation between the DJ booth and the dance floor. They play everything from deconstructed club to glitchy breakcore and everything in between, providing sonic surprises that evoke confusion and excitement.
