Amsterdams viertal Cloud Cafe maakt kwetsbare indienummers die folk, fuzz, chaos en rust samen laten smelten. Na een reeks van meerdere singles en één EP te hebben uitgebracht via Excelsior Recordings, kondigt de band eindelijk de komst van hun debuutalbum aan, ‘Gift Horse’ genaamd. Het belooft een goudeerlijk album te worden, maar de vier Amsterdammers hebben ons inmiddels niet anders laten verwachten. Een ingetogen, doch uitbundig geluid met een 90’s grunge twist is wat ze ons eerder lieten horen op nummers zoals ‘In Over Your Head’ en ‘Some Times’. Deuren 19.30
